Julieanne E. Steinbacher, Esq., LL.M., CELA, is the founding shareholder of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, an elder care and special needs planning law firm with offices in Altoona, State College, Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport, Wyalusing, & Wysox, PA. Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Widener University School of Law and is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) through the National Elder Law Foundation – one of just 66 in Pennsylvania. She earned her Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Elder Law and Estate Planning from Western New England School of Law.
Julie was selected to Super Lawyers® in 2020 – 2023, and also has a "Superb" AVVO rating. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel (ACTEC) – one of just 89 in Pennsylvania – a national organization of more than 2,400 lawyers who are peer-elected for membership and are recognized as the best and brightest in the practice of trusts and estates. She has also co-authored the Pennsylvania Trust Guide (Editions I through V), The Pennsylvania Special Needs Planning Guide, as well as several books in a Protect Your Family series that inform people about planning for the second half of life.
In addition, Julie sits on the board of directors for Hope Enterprises, Inc. and serves as a trustee for the YWCA of Northcentral Pennsylvania.
Julie resides in Jersey Shore, PA with her husband, Donald, their three children, two cats and a dog.
